What your day looks like

As a caregiver, you will:

  • Drive seniors to appointments and social outings
  • Assist with bathing and grooming
  • Manage incontinence care
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks
  • Prepare healthy meals
  • Provide medication reminders
  • Ensure safety with memory care
  • Assist with physical therapy exercises

This area encompasses tranquil neighborhoods like Rancho Vistoso and Stone Canyon, providing caregivers with a short commute to their single client. Key roads such as Tangerine Road and Rancho Vistoso Boulevard facilitate easy travel, ensuring caregivers remain close to familiar local surroundings.

HHAs may work under the direction of a care manager or registered nurse to provide non-medical care that supports a client’s health plan. That includes medication reminders (not administration), monitoring vitals like blood pressure and pulse, helping with mobility and exercises, and noting changes in the client’s condition for the nurse to follow up. The clinical structure is there, but the day is centered around the home.
